No leaks

I thought I should make a short update and say that it’s been raining on and off all day long and we haven’t seen a drip of moisture in our bedroom where the leak was on Tuesday. Looks like the patch is working.

I was a little nervous about it last night going to bed, because it was still soft and a little moist when I checked it Friday morning before work. I asked a friend about it, and he said that it’s normal to be a little soft, and as long as it didn’t rain kerosene, which is what the instructions suggest for cleaning off your tools, it would be fine.

I was sharing that thought with a friend on twitter late last night before I went to bed, and I added that if it’s raining kerosene in DC, we probably have some more serious problems to worry about than roof leaks and dripping ceilings.

Thankfully we don’t have to worry about either leaking ceilings or kerosene falling from the sky today. A good Saturday all around, I’d say.
